Do you remember the great early days of MTV? I was playing with Star Wars Action figures, I was living in Orange, CA attending the local elementary school. I was a chubby little kid, and yeah, I enjoyed my McDonald's. I can't tell you how many times I burned my mouth eating one of their Hot Apple Pies! OUCH! Raiders of the Lost Ark was the top grossing film, one of the GREATEST SAGAS in film history. I could go on and on, so its more than just a sandwich, its a relic to a time that I cherished and still do. There I was, enjoying this juicy McRib, a Jon Secada song was playing in the background, and all was good in my heart and my belly. 5 Burps. Enjoy your bonus video. I give you, JON SECADA!
While at work, I eat lunch everyday and sometimes it can be the highlight of my day. I will post what I had for lunch Monday through Friday, but don't be surprised if I share my other thoughts, on movies, sports, all things USC, music, the arts, and just about anything else that captures my attention.

McRib For lunch today
Yes, I did it. I tried to put it off, but sometimes you have to return to the days of glory. Yup, today, I had a McRib Combo from McDonald's. What is a McRib you ask? Well, let me tell you, its more than just a The McRib consists of a formed ground pork patty, barbecue sauce, onions, and pickles served on a 6 inch (15.2 cm) roll. It is a time machine, it takes me back to the first time I tasted a McRib when it was introduced in 1981. I was just a wide eyed seven year old, just figuring out what I was all about. I was watching MTV for the first time, and they actually played MUSIC VIDEOS.
