Today I decided to try Inka Mama's for lunch. It was alright, hard to describe, its just different. I went with the Inka Special.: Chicken sauteed with chopped onions, peas, carrots, and French Fries (no that's not a typo) in a spicy yellow pepper & garlic sauce-served with rice. It was salty but tasty, luckily when you mix the rice it instantly helped with the saltiness. I wanted to try something different today, and it was not bad. Didn't knock my socks off, but it was good. Kinda pricey for lunch, with my drink and tip it came out to $16. My drink was interesting, I have no idea what it was, other than it was purple and called Chicha Morada. (say it out loud giggles) Its made out of purple corn. I hear Prince drinks it all the time. Overall an interesting South American taste. I haven't had Peruvian food too often, so not sure how to place it. For the price, would have expected better, but still not bad.

French fries??!! I thought those were string beans! How odd...but I bet it was tasty.
